So this Saturday me and Skippy went to Vicky’s 30th birthday party. The twist, this was a jungle party. I had a great time, and I’m sure everyone else did too.
Though lessons learnt of the evening; you can enjoy playing with hand puppets whatever your age, conga lines don’t work in spirals, no matter how nice it is Rob’s punch is DEADLY and you get less strange looks dressed as a panther when going round Tescos than you do if you wear a velvet cloak in Swindon!

(Skippy)[http:skippy.org.uk] and I have been invited to a jungle party at the end of June.
I think we now know what we’re doing but anyone elses ideas would be fun

For our three year anniversary Skippy bought me a Nabaztag or a Wifi bunny. He’s called RoSS because he reads my RSS feeds.
If you’d like to send me or RoSS a message go to the website and click my friend has a rabbit, I thin you have to sign up but I’m not sure. Pictures of RoSS will be available as soon as I can take some.

I’m still on Cloud 9 Slightly following the gig at the Purple Turtle on Sunday. For those of you who know me you’ll know I’ve been saying for a while that if I ever found out that Voltaire was playing this side of the pond I’d be there! Lets just say I wasn’t disapointed.
Me and Skippy went to the Dev for a quick drink before hand, met up with Cecile and Abigail, who I haven’t had a chance to talk to properly for a while. We also got to share a table with the man himself, not that I spoke to him, but still.
After that went for a wander and eventually found a nice Indian place down to road to get some food before hand. Though slightly spicier than the Star of India!
The gig was well worth the wait, very funny, pictures will be online soon.

For those of you who don’t know the 2nd of this month was my birthday, so I am now 23, so old!!
Unfortionately its also the weekend of the bogle stroll. So I spent the Saturday marshalling the event. Oh well. I got to see some people I haven’t for a while.
Though I did also discover that weekend that I have some very good friends. Manda and Dave adopted me my very own bat. Its so cute. Whilst on the subject of cute Emily and Glenn also got me the cutest little werewolf puppy I have ever seen. Hes called Lycan and is now sat on my bed, keeping Vlad, the large vampire bat from London zoo, company. Everyone was admiring him at Kryptorium that evening. For those who don’t know I am also a werewolf, well according to Sicillian folklaw anyway. All those born under the new moon were, so I guess my nickname isn’t as strange as it first appears. In fact some countries have the same word of werewolf and vampire so I think it is rather appropriate!
Skippy, being the wonderful person that he is bought me an MP3 player, which is really nice, thank you hunny, and then put the first 6 Harry Potter books on it for me! Only got as far as book four so far though
Then Sunday we went to the London Dungeon to celebrate, if you haven’t been its worth a visit, though be warned it is a little gory if your not into that sort of thing. Meant we could meet up with Esme from Wrecked though which was nice. I also managed to get a pair of fangs, haven’t tried them out yet, but I will hopefully wear them to the VC meeting at the end of the month.
I think thats it. Oh and we met the nice people who were in front of us in the queue for the Harry Potter 6 midnight release in front of us in the queue at CCK! That was quite a bizare moment!

Saturday we went climbing at Glouster. Kris and Ashley were supposed to come too but didn’t, as a result I got sent up even more walls by my evil boyfriend.
So feeling a little sore now, especialy after crashing straight into a wall in the bouldering room. That and having to use muscles I haven’t used in years!
Hopefully it won’t hurt as much nextr time!

Over the weekend I stumbled across an article which said that there are a large number of wallabies living wild all over the UK. It also stated that this was all Skippy’s fault!!
Sorry hun, but it looks like they’re on to you!
