Tuesday I woke up with a stinking cold. As such I was sent home from work that afternoon, namely on the condition I would be ok the next day. Wedensday I was sent home again and this time I was told not to come back on Thursday. This also meant I missed what was possibly one of the more important panto rehersals as we were going to have been doing the king and queens scenes, ie my scenes!
So I have basically spent the past three days feeling miserable. I hate this weather!!!

Today is the 18th of October. Children in Need day. A day I have not been looking forward to. The reason being today is the day Skippy has his hair cut to raise money.
Dispite the fact I am emmesly sad about this there are some things I would like to say.
Skippy I love you and always have. You are the most wonderful and caring man I have ever met. I just want to say how proud I am of you for being far braver than I ever could. Although I can’t be with you today (and I really wish I could) I have been thinking about you loads.
I wish you the best for today, I hope it doesn’t get to cold out :p and I have an enormous hug to give you when I see you next

According to an article in the Metro you are a geek if five of the following statements apply to you;
I love (insert specialist subject -
e.g. music, film, fashion, cars - here)
I know shed loads about my thing
I can talk for hours about it
I stand out from the crowd
Other people come to me for info
I don't follow trends I set them
I am the first to know
They then discuss the different types of geek found throughout the ages and theorise what geeks in the future might be like. Before finally concluding with how to enbrace your new-found geekyness. This you achieve by realising what your passion is. Then spend time and money on it and finally talk about it.
So there you have it. An abrieviated guide to geekdom.

The rehersal on Wednesday seemed to go really well. I really like my character and I think I’m going to have a lot of fun with him!
Though it did seem to raise one or two questions as to whether or not some of us are a little type cast. For starters Phil who played the Pied Piper two years ago is now Mordecai, the evil magician who wishes to take over the world by overrunning it with rats!
My character seems to sum me up really well, he has a sadistic sense of humour, a tendancy to break things and likes horses.
And as I said to Jackie (Elvi) afterwards, we are both a little type cast. She’s a lesbian and I’m breaking things!

This is it, I have my first panto rehersal this evening. My first chance to see the script (other than the bits I read in my audition) and to meet those members of the cast I don’t already know!
So a chance to find out exactly what I’ve let myself in for. So on the one hand a chance to see how much fun I’ll have doing this and on the other I get to see how much oppotunity there is for Skippy to embaress me in return for the dress incedent and whether or not the director has forgiven me for accidently dropping a piece of the E.D.E on him. (Sorry Rob!)
