I know there is a bit of a risk in posting this as if certain people read it they will hold me to it but I will go ahead anyway.
After a series of particuarly bad jokes whilst in Plymouth Skippy jokingly said that I should write the next panto. Something I automatically said no to. However this got me thinking, why shouldn’t I write a panto. I’ve seen enough of them. Been involved in a few. I even have a few ideas for one now.
Before anyone else says anything, I am NOT commiting myself to writing one for next year. Nor am I promising that it won’t be so bad I never let anyone other than myself read it!

After moaning constantly at Skippy about doing too much, it seems I am now doing exactly the same thing!
After visiting him this weekend I rushed back up to London for Jekyll and Hyde Wedensday evening. Where I spent a rather busy evening as stage crew. Yesterday we had a matinee as well so I was up there all day and had the added drama of the second half of the evening performance being delayed slightly as one of the title characters was being sick. Though I was enormously impressed at his ability to carry on after this!
Today we have two more performances and the manditory curry evening, then another two tomorrow and the end of show party. I’m thinking I’m going to be dead on Sunday. Just in time for me to go back to work on Monday!!!

Went to see this on Tuesday with skippy. Its very good, I reccomend it to all of you. If you haven’t seen it yet you really should!
Whilst there I also noticed something else. I have actually found some ladies toilets that are not pink, pastel or off-white! The ones in the Vue cinema, Plymouth are black and dark purple. Yay!

Today was the first day in my new job. I’m not entirely sure what I can say about it on here so this post will be brief.
Mostly an induction day today so I was shown where everything is and exactly what I’ll be doing and stuff like that. Everyone seems really nice so I hope I’ll do well there

Ok hands up all those who don’t know where Thespia is
In relation to the below post it would appear that my life could get busier. Aswell as getting a new job I also got a part in the panto! Its not a particuarly big part, but the director said last night he’s going to make it a bit bigger. I get to play a palace guard so lots of standing around with a spear. Which according to the dictionary is a weapon consisting of a long shaft with a sharply pointed end. Horray for large sharp pointy things!
EDIT: Not all of us are evil. I do a lot of backstage stuff too.

In relation to the post below I now have a job as a science technician. It seems the second interview was successful. I’ve been looking since July, but at last I have a job! Yay!

It seems I have had a very busy few days, after coming home from Plymouth on Monday evening I had to travel up to Theydon Bois for a job interview on Tuesday morning, then had to sign on in the afternoon, before going to an audition for the local panto, Dick Whittington’s cat, in the evening. Wedensday morning I rushed up to London to see Skippy before meeting up with Gem to go to the Linux expo and the nice coffee shop. Then today I had yet another job interview. This one lasting most of the day. Could my life become any more busy!

Following an article in the Times a few weeks ago it seems that female greater horseshoe bats will return to the same mate year after year. However she will also share him with her sisters, mother, grandmother, aunts etc. This means that bats in a colony are often full brothers and sisters rather than just half. Although this might suggest that incest is common among bats, DNA reasearch showed that males mating with their offspring was rare.
Though dispite this they are still incredably cute, looking rather like small pom-poms with wings. Which gives me the excuse to stick some cute bat pictures up
